i'm not exactly a model christian.
on the best of days i'm a believer with one foot still on the ledge of what i would like to think is "right". cause i don't think the church is right about everything. (we can discuss this on a less public forum if you'd like).
on the worst of days i'm a skeptic and a cynic.
but what i lack in faith i make up with good people around me (& 15,000 km away). we may not agree on everything but we can still have a good discussion about it. you know who you are.

well the church isnt right about everything because we are humans. but im sure church is right on a lot of things though, as long as they base it on the word of God and have the correct interpretation and have not distorted the truth to meet their own fancies.
and again, it takes time to get to know God and have faith in him, its something you work out between you and him depending on how much effort you want to put in, and you experience it for yourself.
so until then, it is natural to have questions. but i think you are off to a good start :)
