we needed the ute to do an ikea run and to pick up a second fridge. so why is this blog-worthy?
that's because although we reserved an automatic transmission ute, we got one with a manual transmission!
you didn't know i could drive a stick shift did you? well, neither did i really. ;)
i think the last time i sat in the driver's seat of a car with a manual transmission was at the auto show in 2004. and the last time i actually DROVE one was probably 6 or 7 years ago in the parking lot of york mills c.i. in my cousin harri's tiburon!
i managed alright. stalled a few times, spun some tires & burned some rubber. but you know what they say. they're no better way to learn to swim than to be thrown into the deep end. sink or swim baby. sink or swim.

나도 지금은 manual 자동차는 자신없는데... 시동이 꺼지지 않고 잘 가기나했는지, 같이탄 친구들의 마음들이 얼마나 조마조마했을까 생각된다. 그건그렇고 이제는 어느정도 집이 정리가 되었나. 모든것을 직접 너희들이 준비하면서 공부하려니 힘 든것이 한두가지가 아니겠구나. 모든것이 순조롭게 이루어지고 공부에 전념할수있기를 바란다.
i'm pretty sure my friend in the passenger seat was scared for her life. she didn't lose control of any bodily fluids though. ;)
