there is a kookaburra that nests in one of the trees in front of our house. at first i found its laughing call to be annoying and slightly creepy in the mornings, but now it's just background noise.
every now and then he drops by my balcony to say hello. today i finally caught him on camera! he was kind enough to leave me a little sumthin'-sumthin' to remember him by.
